Spend or Invest which is the best?

I have concluded that each new day that God gives me, is an important part of my whole life.

What I do with each new day is my choice you see; I can spend my day in frivolous wasteful ways,

Or invest it in my future to be added to all my days. If my choice is to spend it, it is lost and gone

forever more, but if I invest it in doing all that’s good and right, I am blessed of God and in my future I’ll have so much more.

America the Greatest Country on Earth

I am so thankful that our creator chose to allow me and my family to be born in and spend our lives in the greatest country on earth. Even with its imperfections and imperfect people of which I am one, there is nowhere else I want to be. Thank you God for America! For 235 years you have helped her stand strong please God grant her grace to continue on.

New York passed a law Friday and settled their issue of gay marriage this week

It’s interesting to see that New York passed a law Friday of last week and settled their issue of gay marriage . In doing so they spoke to the states of the USA of just how corrupted they are. Let’s not forget that almighty God spoke to the world and passed His law some time ago and settled His issue with gays once and forever. As a result two very wicked cities’

Let us remember also that man can pass all the laws they want, but none will set aside God’s laws. It’s going to be more interesting to see what wrath and judgments of God such a wicked law will bring to New York and other states that move in that direction.

A s we celebrate America’s Independence this year let us first remember Almighty God who raised up this great nation to be a blessing to all the world and then all the men and women in our armed services who fought so hard to keep our country a land of liberty, freedom and justice for all. At great cost America has survived all these years. Please 21^st generation don’t let us fall, don’t let our Liberty and Freedom be lost!

Our enemies sought to destroy us; they sought to remove us from our land.

Their thoughts towards us were not good.

We stood united we stood strong, we fought hard, we prayed long.

They thought we would cower and surrender in fear, but by the grace of our God

 Our enemies fell in defeat, a strong America we stood.

Praise be to Almighty God our great country is still here.

Then came the time we fought the war of internal strife, brother against brother,kin against kin we battled all over this beautiful land. Fight to free the slaves was president Lincoln’s command. Through  grief, sorrow and pain it was brothers on both sides who gave up their life. We fought for the principals we held dear, we stood strong, without any fear ,we fought hard, we prayed long. But by the grace of our God, our great country is still here.We refused to cower and surrender in fear.

Then came World War I and not long after World War II. The Korean conflict, the Vietnam War too.

Desert Storm, Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom all these future battles were quickly to come.

The war against terror we still fight, its end we see nowhere in sight. We stand strong, we fight hard, we pray long. It looks like the end of America as we know it could be near. But still we refuse to cower and surrender in fear.

The battle against internal strife we face once again, its brother against brother kin against kin. I f America is to be saved this war we must win.

The war against Liberalism and Socialism is tearing our country apart. America’s survival rests in our hope, but it will only happen if the American people of this generation have a change in heart.

America’s Liberty and Freedom is at stake, these from us we must not let our enemies take. So many years we have slept and slumbered; while our enemies crept in like a thief in the night,will we surrender to them without even a fight?  Our days are now numbered America before its too late we must awake.

Our nations end is drawing swiftly near; America we must not cower and surrender in fear. We must stand strong, we must fight hard, we must pray long to keep our great country standing here.

Can we remain a great nation? Can we win the war against the enemies we face? Or will America vanish without a trace?The answer is clear if we would keep our great country standing here!  We must return to our God who gave us the right to be free, we must return to our constitution we once held dear. You see the answer to America’s problems is in you and me!

There was a time before that the whole world was full of darkness…

Genesis 1

Here again in these last days the world finds itself full of gross darkness

And because of this darkness the human race finds itself burdened down with problems and troubles that are becoming more unbearable each new day. The world is seeking someone to lead them out of the miseries that touch every life no one has the answer no one can solve the problems of this world and its peoples. People in every area of the world are seeking a light at the end of the tunnel, but there are so many that don’t seem to be able to find it. They can’t find the light because they’re looking in all the wrong places.

The Holy Bible has the answers to solve the dilemmas of the world; Almighty God sent the light into this dark world once again, because of His great love and mercy for the people of His creation.

The Lord Jesus Christ is the answer; Jesus is the Light of the world. Jesus is the only escape hatch we are ever going to have without Him we are condemned to be swallowed up in darkness.

God sent His only begotten Son into the world to be the light of the world.

Good morning brand new day

Good morning brand new day. I wonder what’s coming my way.  Whatever it is good or bad, I know it will be one of the best I’ve ever had. Because Jesus Christ my Lord has promised me, that if I will not waver, but stand tall and strong like an old Oak tree.  If I will not yield to the pressures of life that may be mine today, if from troubles and trials I will not bend.  These are the words I heard Him say,He said “I will never leave you nor forsake you” ”I am with you always, even unto the end…

There are many questions about life, but there is only one true answer.

There are many questions about life, but there is only one true answer.

1. Where did I come from?

2. How did I get here?

3. Why am I here?

4. Was I somewhere else before I came here?

5. Was I designed and made by someone? Or am I the result of a big explosion in outer space?

6.While I am here is it to live a few short years the way I choose then die and disappear forever? Or is there a divine plan set for me to live by that will bring me joy and happiness in this world and also testing and trials through troubles, heart aches and pains that will prepare me for a much better world after this life and life eternal in that world to come?

I have spent the last seventy one year’s seeking the answers to these questions. I have sought answers from many people some educated and some uneducated. I have read many books; I have sought answers from many religions, many churches and many pastors. I have searched in many false religious cults and looked for answers in many doctrines of men, but none of them had truthful answers for me.

You see I was looking for answers to the question of life in all of the wrong places after many years of searching and finding no true answers, I finally listened to a still small voice speaking to my heart and saying to me search the Holy Scriptures in them you’ll find your answers to life.

My study of the Holy Bible these many years has convinced me and confirmed to me this is truth:

I am convinced that I was in Almighty God’s thoughts before I was born into this world.

I am convinced that I was created by Almighty God.

I am convinced that He made me wonderfully in His own image and when I finally see Him I will bear His image.

I am convinced that Almighty God placed me in this world.

I am convinced that almighty God’s purpose for me is to love Him, keep his commandments and to be witness of His love, mercy and grace in the small part of His world that He placed me.

I am convinced that there is no true life without a relationship with  Jesus Christ His only begotten Son.

For me my life’s questions have been answered in the Holy Bible, I have settled it in my heart, by these I have true peace, I have true happiness, I have true joy, I have all that my heart desires in this world and I have hope of a world to come and a life to come that has none of the evils,troubles,pains or tears that we all face in this world.

You may find this to be the answers you search for and accept them and live by them as, well, or you may reject the truth of the Bible in your unbelief and continue to exist without peace, without joy, without happiness and without hope, because God in His great mercy continues to give your breath each day.

Everyone has to have an answer to the questions of life and everyone has a choice to make when those questions have been answered. One may exist without a relationship with God and one may reject and deny the truth of the Holy Bible having no part of it in their mere existence, but I guarantee when death comes knocking and it’s time for you to leave this world there is no unbelief in your other world.

Everyone needs a close friend to confide in when things are tough

Everyone needs a close friend to confide in when things are tough, when troubles and problems overwhelm you.

Marclee was just that friend to me when I was overly stressed from burdens hard for me to carry I would go to Marclee or call her on the phone and pour out my heart to her.

She was a good listener and when I had finished sharing these things with her she would then make a suggestion and say, let’s take it to the Lord in prayer after prayer everything was always better. I love her and miss our often conversations very much.

Thank you Marclee for being my friend.

The hope of America

Every day now we hear bad news about rising prices,gas price going up

Every day now we hear bad news about rising prices, gas price going up, food prices going up, rent going up, utilities going up, prescription cost going up, health cost going up to name a few of the rising costs we are facing from day to day, in fact just about everything we poor folks need is continuing to rise we have just about been priced out of living. They are telling us that our country is heavily in debt and our American dollars are about to lose all value. Some are saying that America is in a state of total collapse, perhaps in the year twenty twelve we will lose our number one status in the world.

All this bad news is predicted and foretold in the holy Bible, also as we near the end right before the return of our Lord Jesus Christ to take His Bride away things are going to become much worse, yes bad news, more bad news much more bad news ahead.

Now let me remind you of the good news in the midst of all the bad news.  The good news is our lord Jesus Christ could return for His church at any minute  it’s that close the moment is upon us and for we who are ready it is us who will rise to meet our Lord in the air.

Knowing this I refuse to dwell on the bad news, but choose instead to think on the good news

Be Sober

It has been said that a lion's roar will literally shake the ground and cause such fear that the creatures nearby will leave their secure hiding places, and flee out into the open, where he then devours them!

Renowned archer Howard Hill once had such an encounter, near his hunting camp in Africa. Alone, just a short way from camp, and armed only with a longbow (similar to that used by the legendary Robin Hood). Hill said the ground shook from the roar of the lion just before he charged. Hill's first arrow went into the lion's chest, the lion jumped into the air and broke the arrow off with his paw, roaring again. The second arrow hit the lion in the side, and it leaped toward him. Hill said the third arrow went through the lion's left eye. as he jumped sideways to avoid the lion's body landing on top of him. Hill said he had no memory of how he made the third shot and gave full credit to GOD!!!

Now Howard Hill was a famous archer who had practiced shooting almost all of his life, the average hunter would have been devoured on the spot! Let us not be like the average christian. Only praying and reading their bible the infrequent times that they go to church.

Practice pays off when the lion comes around, and make no mistake

he will come around. Daily bible reading and prayer, going to church on a regular basis, these are the things that count in these perilious times we are living in. And remember, when you've given it your best shot, GOD will be there right on time to guide ^you to victory.

Did you ever miss seeing or hearing something important because you were momentarily distracted?

There are an awfully lot of distractions in the world today. Many of these may hinder someone from following God's will for their life. This can cause a person to have their joy stolen out of their life, at best, or to fall into Satan's plan for their destruction, at worst.

We can see that debt is a great distraction for the American people. God has a calling on their lives, but they can't fulfill it because of the huge amounts of debt they have accumulated. Perhaps a new vehicle they just have to have, when actually it doesn't matter if a car, truck, SUV, or motorcycle is 20 days old or 20 years old as long as it is dependable, economical and safe. The same thing holds true on housing, because very few families need more bedrooms or bathrooms than they have people.

With the current recession, that anyone could have seen coming, many people owe more on their house than it is actually worth. Doesn't the Bible say something about letting your moderation be known to all?

Another big distraction is politics. We need to be aware of what is going on and vote as responsible citizens; but at the end of the day, what we do for God is what will change the world. The political system will do very little at its best.

Then there is the entertainment distraction, with the current focus on sex and lots of it. If you don't think that is a dangerous distraction, just ask any deer hunter why most deer are killed during the rut. And don't forget those who get so wrapped up in sports that it causes them to miss church.

The list could go on and on, but the point is don't let Satan distract you with things you don't really need. You will find yourself most satisfied with the vehicle, house, and husband or wife that God supplies for you.

Focus on God, maintain an eternal perspective and your priorities will fall in place. You will find that there is no greater joy than being free to glorify God in a life according to His will.
