There is a vast difference between religion and relationship with God.

There is a vast difference between a worshiper of religion and the praise of children of God.

There is a vast difference between religions that see God in their image of Him think God is on their side and under their control and Christians who know that they are created in the image of God belong to God and God is in control.

That difference is a matter of life and death one can live in an abundant eternal life relationship with the Heavenly Father and His Son or die in their sins an eternal death simply by how they live and treat God and His Son the Lord Jesus Christ.

It is good to walk in the opposite direction

This morning I did the same as I do every morning I got up thanked God for giving me another wonderful day.

I walked to the city park that is two blocks from my home at the entrance of our park there is a walk way around the park for all serious walkers most everyone starts here and walks in the same direction around the length of the trail.

But for some reason I don’t know whether it was me getting my bearings crossed or if it was God turning me in the opposite direction for His purpose. I began my walk facing the people instead of walking behind them as I usually do.

Well it turned out to be a most joyful and blessed experience for me it is good to see faces coming at you instead of back sides  leaving you behind most of them smiling a few not so much but all of them wishing me good morning and me doing the same to them.

There were walkers of different races and colors some running some walking a fast pace and others like me slowly shuffling along.

I wondered what must be on their minds as they moved into the distance and I thought surely they are here like me walking for their health.

But I walk for two reasons not only for my health but this is my early morning time to walk and talk with God.

This is my special time that I pray for my family, my neighbors, my city, my state, my country, the president and all those in high offices who make the decisions of the way our country will go. And yes I pray for my enemies and the enemies of our country as well. I feel that by lifting them up to God they can’t do too much harm to me or my country because it is Almighty God who is still in charge.

You know I was reminded of something in today’s walk it is good to walk in the opposite direction and be different then then all the rest.

That is where you will see the most beauty and receive the most blessings.

I changed my direction when I was twenty one and began walking in the opposite direction from the rest of the world now I am seventy three. I have lived to see many beautiful days and receive uncountable blessing from God.

I say it is good to walk in the opposite direction!

It is good to look up instead of down!

 'The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way' (Ps 37:23).

All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing

Enemies can be defeated freedom and liberty can be preserved. All it takes is for good people to take action.

Civilizations of the past fell and people were enslaved because of the people’s lack of wisdom and courage.

Nations have fallen to the rule of dictators because they took no action to stop them or they took action too late to stop them.

Evil can be overcome with good when good confronts evil in the power of prayer and allows God to guide and lead us in battle.

The Angels of God fought against Satan and the evil angels that rebelled against the kingdom of God and won the war.

A teenage shepherd boy named David fought against the giant Goliath in the name of God and a slingshot with five smooth stones and won the war.

We Americans have many more weapons that we can use in our fight to keep our liberty and freedoms. Will we have any excuse if we lose the war?

Walk hand in hand with God

The only way to enjoy the best and get the most out of life is to:

Don’t run from God when you run from God you get caught up in things that make life miserable for you.

Don’t run ahead of God when you run ahead of God you run into things that make your life a miserable wreck.

But do walk hand in hand with God walking in this way you will always be in the right place at the right time to receive all of God’s blessings that will make you a blessing to the time and place you are in.

I learned this lesson the hard way for way too many years I run from God and nearly destroyed my life while I was yet young.

Then after I began to live my life in a relationship with God I so many times I ran ahead of God bringing heartache and stress upon me and my family.

But when I realized that the only way I would ever be truly blessed and happy and have peace beyond the worlds understanding and joy like a river flowing in my heart.

I would have to walk hand in hand with God every day that way He is close enough to help me overcome my temptations, deliver me from my troubles, strengthen me to face my trials and heal me of all my sicknesses and diseases. And when I fall because of my human weaknesses He is there to lift me up and keep me in step with Him. Not only that when at times I become too weak to walk He takes me in His arms and carries me a little while.

Friends may come and they may go

In a life time we can come to befriend a lot of people that become our friends who loves us and whom we love.

But time has a way of separating us from them and them from us friendship can die and human love can grow cold.

And then someday we can find ourselves feeling friendless and UN loved as we watch our selves grow old.

But let me remind you of a friend that sticks closer than a brother He is even closer than a mother.

His name is Jesus and we can turn our friendship from Him separate ourselves from His love but He will never separate His love from us He will be our friend for life.

His love is greater than human love even more than our most wonderful wife.

Our sin will not cause His love to die it is because of our sin that He died even our wickedness will not cause His love to fade.

He has a never ending love for all creatures that He made.

We can sin and do wicked things and by this separate our love from one another and from relationship with Him.

But He is always there waiting for His friends to return their love for him Jesus cannot fail to love us no matter what we do because He is bound by Gods promise to us all.

Jesus will love us unconditionally even if we fall.

 He is the very essence of our heavenly Fathers love sent down to us from Heaven above.

This kind of love for one another no human can give unless in Jesus they love and live.

Knowing the truth of Gods never ending love why do so many choose to separate themselves from the love of the Father above?

But they do and that’s their choice God gave them the right to choose it’s their life to live and their life to lose.

The answer to this I do not know earthly friends may come and they may go but the love of God now fills my heart and from His love I will never part. And I know His love for me will never depart.

As for me I choose to love my everlasting friend and stay close to him until the end.

America had heroes in 1776. Where is Americas heroes in 2013?

I love my family and love to post happy pictures of them on my pages and I do at times.

I also like good foods and am likely to post pictures of some of my favorites once in a while.

I am not beyond posting and sharing something I think is funny if it makes me laugh.

But our country is facing  very troubled times and our rights to live free from corrupt government rule  is at stake and this mostly because of the moral decay of its citizens.

This being so you will notice that most of my posts are of concern for the way Christianity and politics have turned in America.

When a nation that once confessed to be one nation under God with liberty and justice for all has a 180 degree turn around that affects its Christian principals and political viewpoints.

America’s moral standards have been lowered to accept the immorality that that has taken control over it and is destroying the America that I grew up in. The America that I learned to love once   confessed love for God faith in Jesus and respect for the freedom of its people.

This then becomes the most important thing to me the desire to help rescue the country that I love and to fight to regain the liberty and the freedom and the moral standards that once made America the greatest nation in the world.

To me the thing that ought to be of most concern to all of us is our relationship with God and the political future of our nation.

Some of you may never read my posts some of you may not  be concerned about what I have to say some of you may agree and some of you may disagree some of you may love me  and some of you may hate me for what I post.

But people we are in a very serious war for the survival of America and I for one will continue to oppose what I see happening to the country and the people that I love.

I will use every ounce of strength in my body and every tool that is available to me to fight its enemies until the war is won.  The word of God and prayer the internet and the computer keyboard is some of the tools I choose to use.

America needs deliverance America needs revival America needs salvation from the wickedness that is destroying it.

America had heroes in 1776. Where is Americas heroes in 2013?

It is not how loud and how well we speak but how well we live

We see evil present everywhere in today’s world because its evil that is preached the loudest and proclaimed the most by the masses.

How much good news do we see and hear from the secular News Media? How much good news do we see and hear coming out of Hollywood?

News broadcasts speak mostly of evil, Hollywood movie makers speak mostly of evil doings and Music speaks mostly about evil.

Evil has been proclaimed so loudly and lived so robustly among the masses of people that they can’t hear the good news even when it is being proclaimed by the few that do have the boldness and the guts to tell it.

The good news bearers go unheard and unheeded no matter how loud they speak or preach it.

America is on its death bed its last breath fading away the world is dying either because evil is silencing the voices of good news or the sound beat of evil is drowning out the few who are willing to proclaim it.

It is my opinion that many Christian pastors and preachers as well as most of the Christian churches in America have yielded to the voices of evil so much so that the full truth of the good news is not preached or heard by their congregations anymore.

If it were not so then why does evil have such a strong grip on the American population and why does Satan have such power to stop their ears from hearing and blind their eyes from seeing the truth and have such control over their lives  binding them with the evil that enslaves them?

If the good news was really being proclaimed and preached by the anointing of the Holy Spirit of God in America today then Satan would have no power to chain and bind lives with the evil that he does.

There seems to be only a few good news bearers left and our voices seem not to be heard. It may seem that America is lost and damned with the rest of the evil world.

To those of you who know the truth and live under its freedom and power I say to you be bold in the Lord be of good courage and keep on speaking the good news message our God is with us and He will prevail against all evil.

Remember that throughout the history of the world God has always had a remnant in every generation He has always with little and few done miracles among the people and the nations.

Remember also that it is not always the spoken word that opens people’s ears and eyes so that they can hear and see the truth.

But rather how we live that commands and gets attention it is by what we do that get people to stand up and take notice and once we have their attention they will see the message that we preach lived in us.

When we are living in love, compassion, careing, truth, honesty, integrity and faith in the good news message that we preach our lives speak louder than our words and America and the world hears us.

Whether they heed the message is their choice but the good news of salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ is spoken through the lives of the faithful for all to see and hear.

It is not how loud and how well we speak but how well we live

That commands attention and touches hearts and opens deaf ears and blind eyes.
