This is my testimony this is my life

Today I awoke and went to open the door as I do every day to check the outside temperature before taking my daily walk.

Pushing the storm door open just a crack caused a blast of 20 degree air to hit me in the face sending its cold winter chills throughout my body.

Pulling the door shut quickly I realized that my walk was going to be delayed until the beautiful sun rays beaming down peeping at me from behind a mostly clouded sky could do their job of raising the temperature a bit more.

What would I do with my day? My usual pattern for starting my day was broken.

As I stood there pondering this in my mind I began to think this is a perfect day to take a trip. But where would I go?

Then it hit me why not travel back down Memory Lane?

My thoughts began to wander back to that place in time that as a small child of about six years old I lay on my back on my grandpa’s front yard covered by the green blades of grass, the weeds and beautiful flowers that surrounded me, looking up into the vastness of a bright sunny sky having a background of light blue dotted with fluffy white clouds.

My eyes fixed on the heavens I tried to get a glimpse of the God of the Bible that my grandmother read from the Holy Scriptures and told me about.

If this God was that big and looking down at me surely I could see Him.

Although I spent hours at a time my little eyes staring searching the heavens I wanted desperately to see God.

I wondered if God could see me a tiny little speck of dust in this vast world that surrounds me. Why couldn’t I see Him?

I grew into a teenager then an adult still I could not see God neither could I hear His voice.

I began my journey into adult life stained with sin and suffering the consequences of my decisions to sin, in spite of my grandmother’s warnings and urging me to follow the teachings of the Bible.

At the age of 17 years I met and married my wife and by the time I reached 21 years old we together was starting our family. Our first son was born and still I was an unfit husband and father. I knew that I had to make some tremendous changes in my life if I were to keep my family together.

But I didn’t know how to do it neither did I have the strength or desire in myself to do what was necessary to keep my wife and child from leaving me, because of the way I treated them.

I had searched all these years and looked to see God I wanted to hear His voice and see answers to my prayers, “yes sinners do pray but fail to get answers because of how they pray”.

Prayer without faith will accomplish nothing and get no answers.

The Bible says, Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)

 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Then one Saturday night while sitting on the back pew of a small street mission church listening to a tall dark curly haired burly man standing behind the pulpit talking about God’s great love for us and how He sent Jesus to die for our sins, he said as though he was speaking directly to me, that Jesus would change my life if only I would accept His sacrifice for all my sins and come and follow Him.

That night was the turning point in my life, because that night I heard the voice of God speaking to me for the first time through that man of God’s mouth, I saw the love of God radiating from the faces of every person in that little congregation.

And I knew without a shadow of doubt that God was real and that my life would never be the same from that point on.

As God spoke to my heart that night He told me the reason that I had never seen Him during those years.

It was because I had been looking for Him through my eyes of sinful flesh.

I had been searching for Him in all the wrong places I could never have found God through looking for Him in the religions of the world because He is not found in them.

God is Spirit and He is complete love, John 4:24 (KJV)

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

Jeremiah 29:13  (NIV)

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

That Saturday night so long ago I truly found God for the first time in all my life because I searched for Him with all my heart.

I saw Him as He really is for the first time because I looked for Him through my spiritual eyes instead of human eyes.

I heard His voice for the very first time because I surrendered myself to Him that wonderful night through faith in His only begotten Son Jesus Christ who forgives all my sins and cleanses through His holy word my heart from all desire to commit sins.

From that glorious night forward I have through His power and the strength that He gives me lived my life totally opposite of what I started out to do.

And because God gave me a new heart that night I have and am living a very blessed life the old wicked heart that I once had that brought curse and torment to me for so many years was transformed by God’s Holy Spirit the very moment that I allowed Jesus to come in.

God is no longer hidden from me way up there behind the clouds of heaven.

From that glorious night until this present day I have and can see God in all His glory in all His marvelous creation.

I can hear His voice as He instructs me in what I should do and leads me where I should go in order to manifest and make known in this sin darkened wicked world His love, power, mercy, grace and His light of salvation that shines through me as He does in the lives of many others who have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus.

 how shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him.

We are living in most dangerous deceptive times there are counterfeits everywhere.

It’s is hard to separate the truth from the false the real from the unreal.

There are many religions and many religious leaders all claiming to be the truth, there are many these days who even claim to be God and Jesus Christ performing many deceptive things that to the untrained eye would be very convincing.

As a bank teller must be trained to know the difference from the counterfeit bill as compared to the real.

As the antique dealer must be able to spot the true antique from the counterfeit.

We Christians must also be able to determine the false from the truth.

Now the first step in doing that is we must first know the truth.

John 14:6 (NIV)

 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

The second step is to understand that the real Jesus has a personal relationship with His followers.

We must understand that God is not flesh and blood as we are He is Spirit and He is love.

When we truly receive Him into our lives His Holy Spirit begins to live in us teaching us the truth contained in the Holy Bible giving us the ability to see and understand the truth from the false.

Jesus said, John 10:27 (KJV)

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

Having a personal relationship with someone means that we know that person as well or better than we know ourselves.

When my wife and I first met and began our lives together there were many things we didn’t know about each other.

But as we have lived together these many years and studied each other thoroughly we now know each other very well.

I doubt that another man trying to pass himself off as me would fool her because she knows me too well to be deceived even if the man had a physical appearance like me.

And I know her well enough to know that she is one of a kind and couldn’t be fooled by a counterfeit.

When we walk with Jesus we know Him and He knows us He knows exactly where our heart is we can’t fool Him.

There is only one like Jesus and if we really know Him we are not going to follow after the false.

Because Jesus said, John 10:29 (KJV)

My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

If you do not know the real from the false if you cannot determine the true from the counterfeit then you don’t know Jesus and will certainly fall for the lies and deceptions that are being spread everywhere.

If one really wants to know God and the Lord and savior Jesus Christ there is only one way to make that happen.

¹² When the righteous triumph, there is great elation;
    but when the wicked rise to power, people go into hiding.

Anyone who has lived through the 1940’s and 1950’s and has studied the true history of America from its founding until today. Anyone who is old enough to have seen several presidents, congresses and Supreme Court justices come and go during these time periods.

Will also have seen that we have had some good leaders and we have had some bad ones.

But it took us until 2008 to elect what most people now see and believe to be the absolute worst president and congress that we have ever had in America.

America has had nearly 238 years of electing leaders and sending them to Washington to represent the people of this great country.

We have come a long way from President George Washington to Barack Obama and look at where we are today.

We have regressed from a nation whose leaders were God fearing leading us to freedom, liberty and dependence upon God for maintaining and keeping that freedom.

Now we are a nation in rebellion against God having no fear of God having our liberties and freedoms repressed by a group in government control who are trying with every day that they hold office to destroy our constitution, bill of rights and remove God and His laws which our great country was founded upon replacing them with their own laws that restrain our freedom and liberty.

We have become a nation of infidels rushing to satisfy our greed and lust in our flesh with every immoral thing that we can imagine.

We have forgotten that the Father of all life created us both spirit and flesh and commanded us to live in the spirit.

Galatians 5:16 (KJV)

¹⁶ This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

In the beginning of our great country its peoples and its leaders lived One Nation under God guided by the influence of the Holy Bible being led by the Holy Spirit of God.

Because of this we were the most blessed protected nation in the world our enemies feared us and the oppressed of the world risked their lives fleeing to America the land of the free the home of the brave.

Not so anymore because we as a nation have chosen leaders whose heart is not toward God our country has declared itself to no longer be a Christian nation we stagger to and fro reaping the consequences of our sins.

America today is rejecting the blessings of God and choosing to live under the judgment of His wrath and curse.

Our forefathers founded and built this great nation on their faith in God establishing its foundation on the Holy Bible and seeking God’s guidance to make it a beacon of light in this dark and sinful world.

Now our light has gone out there is only a slight glimmer of light left in a very few people who know what America used to be, what it was established to be and what it should remain to be in this world.

Our nation is killing itself committing suicide dying daily in its sins our only hope is in repenting, returning to God and bringing back the morals taught by the ten commandments.

This must start with individuals spread through family’s communities, citys, states and end up in the elected officials of our Whitehouse.

This is called revival and without it America is doomed to self-destruction.

Study closely the lives of every American leader we have put in charge of leading our nation and you will see that the good ones who had good moral character those who proved their love by example for God, Family and Americas citizens brought blessings from God upon our country and we were able to rejoice in the goodness of God.

Compare that with the bad ones we have elected to our shame and hurt and given charge of the highest position in our nation.

From these come disrespect from world leaders, weakness in America’s strength, heartache and suffering among America’s citizens.

These kind have encouraged moral decay, divided our peoples and brought our nation to shame among the nations of world.

No longer do we see the blessings of God that He once showered down upon us because we have been led into rebellion against God and encouraged by certain laws passed in our congress and forced upon the American peoples by those bad leaders that we voted into political positions.

The joy has been stolen from America there is nothing coming from Washington that causes us to rejoice.

And none of this can be fixed until we wake up and elect good, righteous God fearing, God loving men and women of true moral character who love America and Americas family’s.

I know that we have this thing about no religion expressed in our elected officials but don’t you think we were far better off when good men and women who love God, family and country were in charge?

You see loving Almighty God is not religion expecting our leaders to live by good moral standards and lead our nation by those standards is not forcing religion upon our peoples but rather it is bringing the blessings of God upon our nation and causing our peoples to have something to rejoice about instead mourning over its fast approaching death and the consequences we are going to have to pay for choosing bad leaders.

This is my opinion you may like it or not like it you may take it to heart or be skeptical you have a right to your own opinion.

The Holy scriptures confirm that what I have written is correct. The history of our country and its leaders prove that I am correct. All one has to do to confirm for themselves is to look at the years of our blessings and compare them with the years that we have lived under the curse and it all relates to the leaders we have chosen and what we have allowed them to do to our country and its people.

Do we want to live under God’s blessing or do we want to continue under His curse?

If we want His blessings then we are going to have to vote for and elect righteous men and women to be our leaders.

Of course if we like the way it is going and we are satisfied with living under the curse of God instead of His blessings then by all means continue on.

But if we want America to be restored to the America that God established it to be then we are going to have to repent, return to the love for God that we once had individually and nationally.

We are going to have to start choosing our leaders wisely by examining their moral character and their love for God. Instead of what they promise us for free nothing in this world is free it always cost somebody. The only thing that I know of that is totally free is God’s offer to freely save us and yet that cost God the life’s blood of His only begotten Son.

Continuing to elect bad leaders will cost us our country. Electing good leaders will give us abundant blessings.

I have given you my answer to America’s problems. I have encouraged you to take a look at what America once was and compare it to what America is today.

Even in the corporate world bad leaders in charge of corporations will kill and destroy the company’s they manage.

Can America take much more of the kind of management that it has had for the past few years and continue to stand?

I know the answer but I will leave you to answer that question for yourselves.

There are those who want to silence our right to speak.

Our government is passing laws in attempt to silence our speech.

Our government because of their corrupted views and ideas about political correctness will not be the protectors of our speech.

God is the creator and author of speech it is He who created us, it is He who fashioned our lips, and it is He who gave us a mouth to speak.

It is He who commands us to speak the truth in love.

Mark 16:15-16  (NIV) He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.  Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

Ephesians 4:15 - But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, [even] Christ:

But remember our tongues are the most powerful of all our body parts they can speak good words to our blessing or they can speak bad words to our hurt.

Remember also if we have had our hearts and mouths cleansed by the Spirit of Almighty God.

Then it is He who will protect the right that He gave us to speak freely of all things in love.

So let us never be afraid to speak the Holy Scriptures, let us never fear to speak the truth because it is the truth that sets men free.

Jesus said, John 14:6 (KJV)  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The very reason that God gave us freedom of speech is so that we could glorify Him and encourage others to come to Jesus and through Him have that relationship with the Father that He desires us to have.

If I know of someone or something that will change your life for good what kind of a person would I be if I kept silent and never told you?

Acts 18:9 (NIV)  One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: “Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent.

Unbelief is Satan’s most effective tool

we live in a world where time restricts and dominates our lives

I am thinking we live in a world where time restricts and dominates our lives.

We have been given a time to be born a time to live and a time to die.

Our entire life is measured by time we have a time for accomplishing our goals in life also a time to grieve over our failures.

We can use our time for good or we can use our time for evil.

During my lifetime I have seen good people change and waste their time in sinful living. I have seen sinful people change into evil people and spend their time doing evil wicked things to other people. All this change brought on by lust and desires of pleasuring their flesh.

During that given time we see that time changes things, changes people nothing under time stays the same. Every year differs from the other, every generation differs from the other every day differs from the other even the hours, minutes and seconds of our days have some change of events occurring in them.

I have watched American individuals and families change from living by moral upright standards observing and keeping the laws of God as most did in the 1940’s and 1950’s when I grew up.

Year by year I have watched the broken lives and homes of the families of America deteriorate a little more with each changing day.

Today I no longer see the America that I once knew and was so proud to be a part of all because of the wrong kind of change that dominates the lives of most of her people today. At first there was a little change into sin over a period of time hardly noticeable but now America is rapidly advancing towards the end of her time in the most wicked state I have ever seen her.

I know from experience that humans can and do change and without a loving relationship with their creator that change is always for the worst and not the best.

The most important thing we need in America today is for its citizens to come back to love for God and the fear of the consequences of sin.

American people need a change of heart more than they need anything else.

We need to change back to that one nation under God that we once were.

Time is no longer on our side America’s time is running out the worlds time is almost at an end.

Where will we stand when the time of God’s judgment and wrath strikes our rebellious, ungodly, wicked and sinful nation?

God’s judgment is coming you can count on it! Read the Bible the history of the nations that were far less rebellious and sinful than America recorded on its pages are a witness and confirmation of that fact.

Repent and accept the salvation of God offered in the Lord Jesus Christ we must or die we will in our sins without God for an eternity where there is no time and no escape!

There is one who never changes He is the creator of heaven, the universe the earth and all that is in them.

He is not dominated by time but rather He dominates time He is eternal with Him there is no time restrictions.

He is the King above all Kings the Lord above all Lords the God above all gods.

And He does not change His anger of sin His hatred of evil and His punishment for rebellion is still the same and will always be the same He cannot look upon sin and wickedness without anger because He is pure righteousness.

His love for the sinning person, His love for the wicked person is still the same it cannot and will not ever change.

His mercy and grace is still the same and will never change He still extends them to the person who sins and the person who is wicked from the day of their birth through the years of their live for as long as they are living in their appointed time.

Because as long as the sinner has  time as long as the wicked has time there is hope for their change.

But when their time is up and they reach their time limit and cross over the time boundary still in their sins and lives filled with wickedness.

Then God’s mercy and grace turns to His judgment and wrath and His sentence of eternal damnation will be distributed among the ungodly.

Who is this who never changes?

Hebrews 13:8 (NIV)

 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Jesus came to earth He lived a perfect example of the power of God’s word that keeps one who truly loves Him from a life of sin.

He was limited by time as we are He was tempted by Satan and His human flesh as we are He suffered heartache and pain as we do even greater pain than is required of us.

He died while in His youth His life was ended at about the age of thirty three years by the hands of sinful wicked men who did not know God neither did they love God.

He died a horrible death stretched out on a cruel Roman cross drained of every drop of blood that His body contained in order to show the world Gods love, mercy, grace and compassion for all sinners.

He gave up His life willingly so that by His sacrifice sinners could be saved from living a life of sin and from the consequences that sin imposes upon those who are under its bondage.

Yes the life of Jesus the death of Jesus and the resurrection of Jesus from the grave of death is God’s confirmation of His love, forgivness and willingness to save all who will come to Him through Jesus.

I don’t find it hard at all to put my love and trust in Jesus who loved me so much that He was willing to endure the cross of human sin and wickedness to bring me to the Heavenly Father and give me hope of eternal life when my time clock on earth runs out.

We are not living in the book of Genesis, we are not living in Noah’s time, we are not living in the time of Sodom and Gomorrah but we are living in the book of Revelation a time of great sinfulness and wickedness perhaps greater than the peoples of those times before us.

Because of their refusal to repent remember the wrath of an angry God who because of their sinning brought their civilizations to an abrupt end.

Luke 13 :1-5 (NIV)

America Repent or Perish

Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. ² Jesus answered, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? ³ I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. ⁴ Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? ⁵ I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”

If your heart still beats today you still have a free will choice to accept God’s offer of salvation.

Tomorrow you may be forced to accept God’s judgment and wrath!
