Why is this true?

In every generation there have been few compared to the masses that believed in God, loved God with their whole hearts, souls, minds and body strength. And in today’s world there are even fewer among this world’s greatest population.

Why is this true?
Jesus spoke these words concerning today’s generation over two thousand years ago.
Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold
Matthew 24:12  (NIV)

Because of love for the lusts of the body, love for the sin that controls them and their willingness to obey the will of Satan who has blinded their eyes from seeing that God is real and their hearts from believing in His love who desires to save them from sins’ death sentence and give them a new life and eternal life.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23  (NIV)

Most have hardened their hearts so hard against God that no matter what God does in attempt to save them from sins consequences they will not believe in Him, they will not love Him and they will continue to trample under foot His love, mercy and grace.

There was a man who died and went to hell, who after seeing what he had brought upon himself, began to beg God to have mercy upon his family.

“He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family,  for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’
“Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’
“‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’
“He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

Many refuse to believe in God because they cannot see His physical presence in the world.
But He did show Himself physically present in the body of Jesus the Christ and they still would not believe, He willingly gave His body over to death by their wicked and cruel hands and by His own power returned from the grave to confirm eternal life for those who will believe.

As He went up from them into heaven He promised to return again in the same manner that He left leaving behind many witnesses to the fact that He was dead, was resurrected and is coming back to receive those who believe in Him, follow Him and live by the example of His testimony and His word.

He sent His Holy Spirit into the world to convict us of sin, comfort, teach and help those of us who believe to overcome Satan, sin and death through His love and power

His witnesses are in the world everywhere today bearing the good news of God’s love, mercy and grace by living example of the image of God that Jesus restored to those who accept Him and will believe in Him and trust Him.

If one cannot see the living God of all creation pictured in the words of the Holy Bible, The Lord Jesus Christ who lived, died and arose from the grave to show us God’s love for us, if the Holy spirit of God living in the lives of true believers, if the signs, miracles and wonders done in the lives of people all over the world every day, if the beauty and magnificence of the heavens and the earth that we all see and look upon every day that He gives us breath to live does not convince one to believe.

Then there is nothing else that God will do to prove Himself we will either believe and be saved from our sins or we will continue in our sins to be damned to a Devils hell in eternal death lost and separated from the Almighty God who has given us many witnesses of His existence and His everlasting love for His human creation.
Mark 16:16 (KJV)
But the good news is that while human love fails and grows cold. God’s love never changes for humans.

For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
Psalm 100:5

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
John 3:7  (NIV)

You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’
