Remembering the real America

Those of us who are old enough to remember the real America we grew up in.Remember an America who had control of its government, its lower courts, its higher courts, its schools of learning.

The American people who managed their own lives and affairs kept themselves under their own management, loved God, trusted God and lived for the most part under the laws of God.

Sure we had problems, sure we had criminals, perverts, liars, thief’s, some violence and greedy power hungry people living among us, but they were few in number and when they were caught and convicted in our courts of justice they were punished for their immoral ways and we did not elect them to public office and give them rule over us.

The majority of us were good law abiding Christians, who maintained control of our country and we stood up to the few whose aim was to pollute our society and harm our way of life.

We remember the blessings and protection of God that covered our nation, because of our love for Him and respect for His laws.

We knew that the Bible teaches to hate all sin and wickedness, because God hates sin and wickedness among people.

We knew to fear the wrath of God against any people who would choose to live unrighteous.

This knowledge and our obedience to it kept us a free country an example of good in the world.

This was before we allowed the twentieth and twenty first centuries to steal our country away from us.

Now our elected officials, our government, our courts and our school systems want control over us and our families.

Most people are being ruled by their sins.

And criminals, perverts, liars, thieves, violence minded, and greedy power hungry people have increased in large numbers and are destroying the America we once knew and loved.

I believe that our country has given up and lost some very important things that kept us a great nation gaining us respect and admiration from the rest of the world as the freest country in the world.

So many of America’s citizens no longer have, faith and belief in God, love for God, respect for God’s laws and the fear of God.

These kind of people now rule our government, our court systems and our school systems and exercise unjust control over the American people and are removing our freedoms little by little.

They are destroying the very foundation that our great country was founded upon one day at a time.

And it is all because we the American people keep electing them to our high offices and tolerating their abusive takeover of our lives and freedoms.

If we want our old America back, if we want our freedoms back, if we want the control of our lives to return to us, if we want to return to the real America.

We as individuals and as a nation are going to have to return to faith in God, love for God, trust in God ,respect for God and fear of God.

Otherwise all we can expect is an outpouring of God’s wrath upon a sinful and wicked nation.

 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. Hebrews 10:27  (NIV)

It is not too late for us to avoid the consequences of our nations sins ,but we must do it soon the day is fast approaching and will soon be upon us when we pass the point of no return.

 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14  (NIV)
