How is your immune system today?

For several months after Mary’s cancer treatments and surgery her doctors warned her to be very careful about her surroundings and being near anyone who appeared to be sick. They told her that her immune system had been destroyed and she had no protection against those things that would harm her body.

Her immune system would have to be rebuilt before her body could withstand attacks from enemy germs.

She was put on a diet of foods and medicines that would help her regain a strong immune system.

I believe that our souls are in some ways like our human bodies we must have a strong immune system in order to withstand the attacks of the enemies of our souls.

In the beginning God gave Adam and Eve strong immune systems it was called innocence they were protected against sin and wickedness by it.

But then the day came that they were exposed to Satan he tempted them and they surrendered their innocence to him sin came into their hearts and minds their immune system was destroyed.

Since then spiritual cancer of sin and wickedness has enslaved the human spirit held the hearts and minds of human kind captive destroyed their bodies and entrapped their souls in everlasting hell.

The only way that our soul can regain its immune system is to have sin and wickedness eradicated from our hearts receiving the Lord Jesus Christ and His power into our lives. We must be born again of the spirit of God. Our minds must be washed by the word of God .We must have a daily diet of the Holy Scriptures to give us new life and strength.

When our spiritual immune system is working right and giving us protection from the evils of this world.

Then and only then do we have the power and strength to withstand the tricks and snares and deceptions of the devil.

Ephesians 6

¹⁰ Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

¹¹ Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

¹² For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

¹³ Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

¹⁴ Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

¹⁶ Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

My friends this is the only way that we will be able to return to the paradise that Adam lost for us by his sin.

This is the only way that we will be able to enter into heaven that Jesus has gone to prepare for us.

This is the only way that we will have the life back that Satan and sin has stolen from us.
