Mary and I are grieving this morning for the loss of our precious little Chiquita
We adopted little Chiquita into our family fifteen years ago. All of our children were grown up and had lives of their own to live and me and Mary were left alone just the two of us.
So we went searching for the pitter patter of little feet to once again grace our home. When we first saw her while we looked through a new born litter of Chihuahua puppies Mary said to me the one that comes to me is the one that I choose.
As the puppies scattered in various directions the tiniest one of the bunch ran over and leaped into the arms of Mary. This is the one Mary said to me we will call her Little Chiquita and she has spent all her years being a loving member of the Lee family. She showed us more love and companionship these 15 years than I feel we were ever able to give back to her at times.
At around eight o’clock this morning Little Chiquita left us and we are going to miss her greatly and know that there will never be another that will take her place in our hearts the way she did. She will always be remembered as that precious little part of our lives that can never be replaced.
I don’t know much about heaven only what the holy Bible tells us about it.

1 Corinthians 2:9 KJV
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

I do hope that God has a place reserved in heaven where humans and their pets will be reunited again.

Good bye Little Chiquita our lives will not be the same without you. You have left a vacant spot in our hearts and our lives. Your leaving us has filled us with sadness but the memories of the happiness you brought to us will remain there for the rest of our lives.
