Someone said that we are no longer a Christian nation

Someone said that we are no longer a Christian nation.

I disagree I think that we are a nation that has enjoyed our blessings from God, turned our backs on God and are running from God.

I think we like the prodigal son have taken our inheritance given us by God and our forefathers and have wasted it now we are in the pig pen of our own making searching for a way out. Looking for answers in all the wrong places of why we are here.

Like the prodigal son we as a nation need to awaken to our circumstances come to our senses and return to our heavenly Father who loves us and is patiently waiting for our nation to return to what He established it to be (a beacon of light shining in a dark world) a land of freedom, justice and liberty for all.

Americas light has almost gone out if we let that happen then the whole world is lost in darkness.

I think we are now a nation under the chastisement of God. God is offering our nation healing and salvation. Will we heed His call and live? Or will we continue in our backsliding and die?

Luke 15:17-19 (KJV)

17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)

14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
